Spark Coverage Cup
Media relations is at the heart of a successful campaign and our team take great pride in beating their colleagues to win the weekly Spark Coverage Cup vote.
The winning piece of coverage isn’t just about circulation or credibility. A great business national or broadcast piece doesn’t always beat trade coverage – outcomes are key. How effectively was the client’s message communicated? What was the engagement like? Did it result in leads?
While earned coverage is now only part of what we do, the impact of what we deliver is often why clients choose to work with us in the first place. It’s why 80% of our clients come through referral and why some of our clients have stayed with us for over ten years.
Below are the recent highlights:
Coverage Cup 12/09/2025
Where else to start this week’s Coverage Cup round-up than with the Nexthink team’s news hijack around Microsoft ending free support for Windows 10. The team pitched Nexthink’s insight that custom support fees could cost organisations globally as much as $7.3bn, landing a hit in Forbes. That wasn’t our only piece of tier one business press coverage, as the team secured a piece on BBC News Online about TXPs new office in Birmingham. Focusing on the creation of new jobs and featuring a quote from a local MP, the team secured the interest of the BBC alongside additional coverage in local and IT media.
Over on the security beat, the CIISec team secured coverage with the State of Security Profession report in publications such as IT Pro and Infosecurity. CIISec also featured in a Computer Weekly story exploring how to attract cybersecurity talent. Red Canary were also in the news with a hit in Infosecurity after explaining how attackers have been patching vulnerabilities post-exploitation. Finally, Infinigate’s byline article outlining seven strategic areas for cyber resilience was published by Technology Reseller.
AI has again been high on the agenda. SentinelOne and Harness both examined how AI is helping to speed up coding as part of a feature in IT Pro. Meanwhile, Hexaware jumped on a comment opportunity in The Banker, securing coverage with insight on how to mitigate AI risks. The WalkMe team also placed a byline with The MJ, based on FOI data compiled from UK councils exploring AI adoption and usage policies.
Finally, on the life sciences front, we secured a strong spread of news hits regarding the launch of Elsevier’s new AI tool, PharmaPendium AI.
