Spark Coverage Cup
Media relations is at the heart of a successful campaign and our team take great pride in beating their colleagues to win the weekly Spark Coverage Cup vote.
The winning piece of coverage isn’t just about circulation or credibility. A great business national or broadcast piece doesn’t always beat trade coverage – outcomes are key. How effectively was the client’s message communicated? What was the engagement like? Did it result in leads?
While earned coverage is now only part of what we do, the impact of what we deliver is often why clients choose to work with us in the first place. It’s why 80% of our clients come through referral and why some of our clients have stayed with us for over ten years.
Below are some of our previous highlights:
Coverage Cup 30/09/2022
As the leaves change colour, the Spark team are ready to grab our pumpkin spice lattes and rake in some great coverage for our clients. And looking at our recent highlights, it’s clear that the chillier days and darker nights haven’t stopped us from securing some unbe-leaf-able hits!
The Sagacity team has set the bar high, harvesting an impressive piece in The Express about the impact of the energy price crisis. The story warns consumers they must give energy suppliers up to date consumption data to help avoid unexpectedly high bills.
The national coverage doesn’t stop there – the Ivalua team secured a wonderfall feature comment in The Times’ Supply Chain Resilience report, exploring how the made-to-order model can help build greener supply chains. The team was also busy pitching some new research showing that organisations are prioritising reducing supply chain disruption in response to recurring Black Swan events. This resulted in some excellent coverage in Supply Management, Manufacturing & Logistics IT, and more.
The Dynatrace team also used research to land some top coverage, with BetaNews and IT Pro covering a new study showing organisations are being overwhelmed by cloud complexity. Meanwhile MuleSoft’s research, revealing that IT leaders are finding it harder than ever to hire workers, featured in the likes of IT Pro, Technology Magazine and Enterprise Times.
We’ve also been branching out with some great customer stories, including a piece in diginomica on how Crew Clothing has implemented an innovative mobile selling solution in stores, powered by Couchbase’s NoSQL database. TechInformed also covered a MuleSoft customer story, showing how Ocado Retail is using APIs to rapidly gain access to valuable data sets that can be accessed by business stakeholders.
Our life sciences teams have been enjoying a successful few weeks. First, an article for PacBio on using genomic sequencing to unlock the hidden insights held within the genome was secured in European Biopharmaceutical Review, reaching a very targeted audience of 24,000 biopharmacologists across Europe. Meanwhile Pistoia Alliance was featured in Endpoints News with a press release on how it is forming a new working group, including liaisons from the FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, to develop a standardised and shared template for in vitro pharmacology (IVP) data in regulatory submissions.
We’ll be back soon with another Coverage Cup roundup, but until then, you can also check out our blog to see what else we’ve been up to.
